How does it work?
Good question, songwriter. All lessons are conducted via Skype, Facetime, or Google Hangout. Lessons are typically 1 hour long, but can be tailored to your needs. If you're interested, reach out and we'll set up an initial consultation!
I only write (Folk/Pop/Death Metal/Blues/Etc.) will I still get anything out of this?
Absolutely! In my classes at Berklee, every single lesson I teach can be equally applied across several genres. It's like learning to ride a bike in Manhattan, and then asking if everything you learned about riding a bike still applies in Tokyo, or Sweden. The principles are the same regardless of Genre.
I've never written a song before / I've already written 3,078 songs. Will these lessons work?
Yep. I can start you off from the most beginner level of writing, or listen to a few of your best songs and let you know exactly what comes next!
Who are you?
What about me? Am I just a professor? My songs have been cut by artists on Universal, Columbia Records, Ultra Music, and have over 20 million views on Youtube. I've also secured placements on TLC, NBC, CBS, Fox, and major motion pictures. I've written with such incredible talents as the American Authors, Colby O'Donis (of Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" fame), and Bebe Rexha (who penned Rihanna's smash hit "The Monster".)
